Description of Responsibilities:

The Counseling Center at the University of Dayton seeks a Psychologist/Counselor with 1) an earned doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, or related field and 2) is Ohio licensed/license-eligible in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or is a Professional Clinical Counselor (licensed, doctoral level).  This is a generalist position and candidates should possess skills and experience in both individual and group psychotherapy, career counseling/assessment, and outreach programming.  In addition, interest and experience in alcohol-related issues, crisis intervention, supervision, and sport psychology are preferred.  We strongly encourage applications from members of minority groups and others who will enhance and diversify our staff.  The position is for 12 months (10 or 11 months optional).  Salary range for the 12-month position is $42,000-$45,000 and benefits are competitive.  Application deadline is March 2 or until position is filled.  Position available August, 2007.

The SIUC Counseling Center is seeking a psychologist for a 12-month, continuing, entry-level position, beginning August 1, 2007.  The Counseling Center maintains an APA-accredited pre-doctoral
internship  and provides comprehensive mental health services to students of a  large state university. Staff provides individual, group and crisis  counseling; outreach and consultation services; and supervises  practicum students and interns.

Requirements: Earned doctorate in an APA-accredited program in Counseling or Clinical Psychology (ABD applications accepted; degree
  must be completed by start date), completion of APA-accredited pre- doctoral internship, and eligibility for registration as a licensed  psychologist in Illinois; or current licensure as a psychologist in  Illinois.  A successful candidate must have strong
clinical skills  and two of the following areas of focus: trauma survivors, eating  disorders, DBT, group therapy, supervision of trainees.

This is a 12-month, full-time administrative position in the University's Counseling Office. Primary responsibilities of the Staff Psychologist include the direct provision of individual, group and couple therapy to students, along with consultation to university administration and faculty, mental health-related outreach to students and student groups, participation in the selection and supervision of postdoctoral fellows and predoctoral trainees, and participation on university committees and advisory boards. Location: Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) is a comprehensive state university of approximately 12,000 students, located in Chicago. NEIU's Counseling Office provides psychological services and outreach to students, consultation and support to the university’s faculty and administrative staff, and supervision to Psychologists in training.

The student population represents a highly diverse mix of cultural backgrounds, ages and clinical presentations.
